6 year check

Took the girls in for a quick check up today.

Sydney is 44 lbs and 45 1/2 inches tall and Courtney is 40 lbs and 44 1/2 inches tall.

We got referred to see a sleep specialist. They might have sleep apnea which could be caused by the enormous tonsils. They are still in pull ups at night and the sleep apnea might be why. They rarely wake up dry and its rather expensive to keep two in pull ups! Hoping we can find the cause. The doctor said that their hyperactivity could also be a cause so its a good thing I get it all check out. It will probably take a few months to get an appointment at Children's in Seattle but we are getting the ball rolling.

Class parties

The girls birthday fell on the last day of school before winter break. On Monday we made treats for the class. Courtney made rice krispie treats with mini m n m's and Sydney made strawberry cupcakes with blue frosting.

In Courtney's class there were 3 kids having a birthday this week so we all sang happy Birthday 3 times to each kid. One of the other birthday kids brought cookies too!

Jump Around Fun Zone Birthday party!

Last Saturday we had the girls birthday. It was a perfect little party. The girls jumped for an hour then they headed into a room for a craft, pizza,cake and presents! Everybody seemed to have a great time and the girls came home happy as can be!

Alexa even came up from Seattle to help celebrate and gave the girls these puppies which they have slept with every night!!

Christmas Program

Last Wednesday night was the annual children's Christmas program at church. The girls just love being in it. They love to sing that's for sure!

Closet

We have been doing a little remodeling for the past moth and half. Our contractor went on vacation 2 weeks ago and is suppose to do the final touches on everything. While he was gone Jon and I painted the downstairs, Sam's room and closet plus part of the twins room! Plus we got new flooring in the whole downstairs. Sam's closet is pretty much done except the door needs to be put back on! Hopefully it will all be done by the middle of next week!

Bowling with cousin Trinity

Cousin Lori and her hubs Jeff went to Mexico for a week ( I am so jealous, I would love to get away for just a weekend with my husband !) Their daughter Trinity is with her grandma Lois. On Sunday she dropped T off with bus to spend the day. They played for awhile then we all went to town to go bowling! Fun times!

Fashion show

The other day Sydney was playing fashion show. She was dressing up her stuffed animals and making them walk on the "catwalk." Sam decided to join her and they played for a good hour without bickering! So not something I would have played as a kid sometimes I wonder where these girls came from! I have no idea where Courtney was...

Sams 2nd grade class has been learning all about spiders and they told us all about it at the Pioneer pride assembly today!

Halloween

The twinks had there Halloween party at school on Tuesday since they dont go on Wednesdays. It was fun. They had lots of Halloweeny crafty things to do and they paraded thru all the classrooms with there costumes. Having them in separate classes made it a challenge but I went back and forth in 10 minute increments. It worked out perfectly.

Samanthas party was fun too. The girls and I headed over at 2:15 on Halloween and they did another parade through each class. Then back to Sams classroom for snacks.

Courtney really wanted the Snow White wig to go with her costume so we went out on Monday night and bought it. She has been saving up here money and wanted to buy it herself. It was $14 and I told I would pay half. She was super happy. She kept telling people she was wearing a wig!!

It was pouring! Thankfully I took the kids downtown right after school and did the loop thru all the shops becasue it was so wet when we went at 6 that we only made it 30 minutes before the adults (me. Jon and Uncle Lex) said it was time to go in! The girls are true Washingtonians they wanted to keep on going...

Pumpkins!

Lex, Leah, Max and Nicole came over last night to celebrate Lex's birthday. We picked 3 pumpkins from the garden and the girls picked what they wanted them they wanted to look like. It was a lot of work but they turned out great!

Pioneer Pride

Last Friday was the first Pioneer Pride assembly. Samantha got an award for being an all around good student! Courtney for recognized for being the fastest girl kindergartner in the jog a thon last week. Poor Jon was home sick so he missed it!
