a day in the life of a no school day for the twinks...

they very rarely dress alike (to be honest I think this is the only thing they have that is the same) but this day they wanted to be. they were super nice to each other all day!

We ended the afternoon with a tea party using Gramma Toots real tea cups!

Toy Story 3 Disney on Ice!

Last week we went with Trinity and Lori to Disney on Ice Toy Story 3! It was really good. I sure wish I  video taped the girls reaction when the show began they were so excited.

We are waiting for the show to begin!

The Army men were really cool!

It was a fabulous show and the kids sat through it! Very entertaining! Both of the twinks threw a huge fit when it was all over with on the way out because we didnt get to say goodbye to Trinity. We parked on different sides of the stadium in Everett. The Sydney took it to a whole new level when we drove off because she wanted her stuffed animal which was in her suitcase. She screamed for it all the way to Marysville (about 30 minutes) until we finally stopped and got gas. Then she fell asleep. Kinda put a damper on the day!

UW game

Last weekend we were in charge of the food for the Dawg pound tailgate party!

the trip to the stadium. ( they picked me up at some church near so I could ride with them. I left the kids with Lori in Bothell so Jon and I were kidless!)

It's a party on the bus (no eating though!)

We made jalapeno poppers (Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in bacon!)

We also smoked a pork the day before and made pulled pork sandwiches with homemade bbq sauce and also a tasty corn chowder that I got from Allrecipes.com

we had great seats (first row on second level right at the 30 yd line)

It was a fun night even though the Huskies lost!

Sickness

Courtney and Samantha are both pukey today. Nurse Sydney is doing her best to make them feel better!

Craft TIME

The girls have been doing this for 3 hours! Courtney though a fit at one point and threw it but she started over and is happy again!

after 3 1/2 hours they are finally done with their first one (the tv is on Nick Jr too, what a nice quiet day it's been)

Last week Samantha went to a little mini cheer camp at Bellingham High School (thanks Aunt Leah!) She had a blast!! and the performance at halftime at the big game!

Another great Halloween! Despite the 48* weather for the actual trick or treating, at least it wasnt raining!!

let the carving begin! The kids helped get the gunk out but left Jon and I do the carving...Jon said next year he wants to make them do it and stick with the triangle eyes!

Samantha was so great with Courtney letting her parade around the school with her! Sydney through a major fit before we headed over and ended up not coming. She stayed with Nancy who said that right after we left calmed down and read books with her. She was mad that we didnt stop at Dads office on the way home from school (they both said they didnt want to but when we got home they were both mad that we didnt go! I couldnt get Syd to calm down! Man is she stubborn)
